Rockstar Introduces Stat Tracking for Its Games

The first rule of Rockstar Social Club, is you do not talk- no, actually this is designed to tell everybody about your game skills.

Rockstar Games has announced the Rockstar Social Club, an interactive leaderboard that will begin by tracking Grand Theft Auto IV stats. The Club is compatible with Xbox Live and PSN and players can register starting April 15.

Among the stats charted are time to single-player game completion, individual crimes committed in the fictional Liberty City and milestones like the number of bullets fired.

There will also be contests, challenges and other goodies according to Rockstar. The company calls this "just the beginning of an on-going Liberty City experience.. and a small taste of what's to come from Rockstar Games for GTA IV and beyond.
