Set to arrive via the Playstation Network next month.

KOEI today announced that a new-and-improved version of its futuristic racing game, Fatal Inertia, will be coming to the PlayStation 3 via the PlayStation Network next month under the guise of Fatal Inertia EX.

“We’re really excited about what we’ve accomplished with Fatal Inertia EX,” said Mike Bond, lead game designer for the game.

“Gamers will be amazed by all of the improvements we’ve made. EX is a faster, more visually-captivating experience packed with new content not found in the original.”
FI EX promises exclusive new environments, eight new tracks, a re-tuned flight model for improved handling and higher speeds, optional SIXAXIS motion sensing support, and a new 'Master' level of Quick Races.
