Most custom levels will be deleted upon the beta's end.
Leo Cubbin, a producer for Media Molecule's highly anticipated LittleBigPlanet, recently sat down with LittleBigMadness.com to discuss the upcoming game, as well as its recently launched beta.
Among the topics of discussion was the issue of transferring content from the beta over to the full game when it launches later this year. Unfortunately, Cubbin's revelations were not happy ones.
“The Beta is going to get wiped. What we’ll probably do is transfer over the good ones into the real game. If we could transfer all of them, we would,” said Cubbin.
“The problem is, a Beta trial is done for development reasons and the version of the game you’re using isnt the same we’re going to release.”
The final version of LittleBigPlanet is scheduled to launch in the closing weeks of October.
