Spider-Man 3 Collector's Edition

Also, the game's graphics are highly inconsistent, which is surprising for the PS3. Spider-Man always looks amazing both in the game and in cutscenes, no matter his costume. All the other characters, including Peter, look like rubber pixilated dummies pantomiming on bland, detail-free backgrounds. The film's voice actors can't help their in-game counterparts perform any better.

The graphics also contributed to a few framerate issues, causing the game to slow and flicker when Spider-Man was crawling into a corner or around a wall.

The more costly Collector's Edition comes with only a few additions to the regular game. The best is the New Goblin as a playable character, allowing you to toss pumpkin bombs at opponents and zoom around on the hover board. You can even use the Sixaxis' motion controls to fly. After Goblin is unlocked, he also gets ten of his own races not included in other versions of the game.

Playing as new Goblin is pretty fun, helping to make this the best purchase of all the versions when, really, it should be added to all the versions. You'll also get an extra paper slipcover, a linticular card (only cool to little kids and collectors) and, within the game menu, short DVD quality webisodes, trailers and interviews with a few cast members. It only amounts to 20-30 minutes of extra video.
