Our friendly neighborhood sticky string slinger returns for a third city-roaming adventure loosely based on a feature film of the same name.
Much like the previous two Spider-Man movie-based games, Spidey swings around a massive map of New York City, saving citizens in trouble, helping the police stop petty thieves and partaking in high-swinging races when not involved in the game's larger, story-based missions.

Putting a bit of a twist in the hero's webs for this game, Peter Parker can bop between five story-based mission paths, completing levels to defeat high-profile level enemies.
Spider Sense, which warns of imminent attacks from most opponents, can be used with Spider Reflexes, which momentarily slows time and allows Spider-Man the opportunity for a more powerful counter attack.

After playing for a short while, Peter can swap suits, using the darker version for some extra abilities, speedier web slinging and more powerful punches. It becomes harder to remove the longer it is used, resulting in some cued button mashing that, if failed, will end a mission.
