Something you don't see everyday.

Having appeared within the gaming industry’s midst on and off before E3, Everyday Shooter looked to be one of those arcade shooters that was just a bit off. Its late release compared to other PSN titles sharing its genre such as Super Stardust HD and Nucleus, which looked and felt a lot more advanced than Everyday Shooter, made it feel like an instant cult classic.

Don't worry about directions, you're covered. Stat the game and important info will pop up when needed.

When playing ES, that’s the feeling behind it. Like going to see the Rocky Horror Picture Show live, it’s an experience unto itself that, while can be explained, must be experienced. For good reason too; the eclectic nature of the common space-shooter gameplay is the biggest reason to try it.

While ES’s PSN predecessors have a graphical and UI advantage, they don’t share its uniqueness. Playing as a small pixel shooting oddly-shaped robots, airplanes, and other weird “enemies,” the goal isn’t to score points by defeating these foes. Rather, points are collected by gathering similar pixels that only some baddies leave behind.

The 'eye' in the center will keep growing as more robots enter it. Blow up the blinking ones to make a chain.

This doesn’t sound appealing, especially with the incredible difficulty required to score single points. The fact that the game is not easy doesn’t help either. To combat the fearful of scores under 9000, a chain system is in place where groups of enemies can be destroyed easily, leaving clusters of point-pixels to collect.
